The ETU is designed as per international standards and specifications. It has a fully air conditioned space of 100sq meters with ten beds. Each of the ten beds have multi display cardiac monitor, oxygen, wall suction and all the other standard equipment. Each bed can be separated from others when necessary. There are doctors’ and nurses’ rooms with attached wash rooms and a common wash room for the patients which is installed with a bed pan washer. The ETU entrance is designed in such a way that a vehicle can be driven right to the entrance so that immediate medical care can be administered to the patient by almost eliminating the transport time for the patient. The ETU is headed by a senior nursing sister and have dedicated round the clock medical and nursing care.
